The Crossroads Collective is a blog and digital project, fully rooted in Black horror and the Southern Gothic aesthetic. In addition to general horror and macabre content, you will find personal meditations on the different aspects of death, grief, and healing, with a focus on funerary rituals and ancestral veneration.

Within this space, I will be exploring the darker side of the human experience. In particular, I will focus on the figurative and literal ghosts of the American Southland, specifically the specters which have haunted generations of Black women. The aim of this project is to connect the supernatural and the paranormal to the horrors of real life, with the idea being that the actual monsters are often other people.
