The Crossroads Collective is a blog and digital project, fully rooted in Black horror and the Southern Gothic aesthetic. This space is a wild mashup of Southern folklore, horror noire, history, and true crime, featuring dark tales from the Sunshine State and all things macabre. Here, I will be exploring the darker side of the human experience, with a focus on the figurative and literal ghosts of the American Southland. The aim of this project is to connect the supernatural and the paranormal to the horrors of real life, with the idea being that the actual monsters are often other people.
